I visited the Causeway many years ago on a family vacation to Ireland (my father's side is from / still living in Country Antrim). Loved it. It was one of the most memorable places we went to.

Well spotted, that is indeed the true history of the GC! The other two
are myths ;-)
And yes we can do that in the fall, mind you the whole causeway is about
a 4 hour circular walk
mind you that is allievated by the fact there are several pubs at the
beginning/end ;-) for purely medicinal
purporses of course!
